My Biggest Personal Achievement of 2010

  1. Truly a worthwhile achievement! I know, because I managed to do the same thing this past year, using the pretty much the same “diet plan” as you – eating less and exercising more. I finally lost the weight I had gained when I had my second child (at age 40). The baby is in 6th grade this year, so it was about time.

I’m new to the whole blogging thing, but my husband is encouraging me to share my weight-loss adventure, so I may check out your posts for pointers. : )

    1. Ellen…I am so happy for you, and I am delighted to hear you have had success with weight loss. Personally I think that we are often sucked into the hype of having to go on this program or that, and that if we just change our eating habits to more reasonable and normal portions the rest will pretty much take care of itself (i.e. you lose the weight from eating less…you gain more energy…you naturally feel like getting up off the couch…you get more exercise…you become healthier)

My advice to you Ellen if you want to blog is to write, write, write…don’t be afraid to post anything…the only thing to be afraid of is not posting…developing writing is like a muscle…it won’t get better (bigger) if you don’t do it…keep at it and looking forward to checking in at your blog now and again 🙂
