Here’s the latest iteration of the beloved “General Lee” paint scheme made famous in the late 70’s/early 80’s television show “The Dukes of Hazzard“.  The show developed quite the following, and I confess that I was an avid watcher of the show in my youth.  The original car was a customized late 60’s dodge charger.

I have to confess, I would love to see how this little electric car would handle some of the jumps its famous namesake did during the series.  Assuming it would get to speed, I fear it would land and be crumpled like an aluminum soda can.  Well at least it would continue to be green and be ready for easy disposal in the recycling bin.

Now I just wonder if the little smart car comes equipped with the signature horn of the original…THAT just might be even more epic than the jump.
