  1. hey mike. nice to connect w u. these r lovely pics. i see the lure of the contrast between winter gripping to keep hold and the denial of spring that will yet progress. nebraska always reminds me of union college, “sling-a-the ink and push the pen along…” 🙂

    1. Thanks for stopping by Sana, and thank you for the kind words. I snapped those off pretty quickly. It was cold, and I had just awoke to the snow. Knowing it wouldn’t last long, I wanted to capture the budding trees with some snow on them. Next week’s challenge is “Ocean” and being land-locked in Nebraska here, I might need to get a little creative in that interpretation

  2. Wow! Snow in late March. I guess that happens in a lot of places, just not in Eastern Oregon/Washington! Here the daffodils are blooming, tulips are pushing their way toward the sun, dogwoods are just starting to blossom, and the lilac bush outside my office window has green buds all over it. Today the sun is shining and there are no clouds in sight. Should be a beautiful spring day…which I will enjoy as long as I can before the awful throes of summer are upon us.

    1. Yeah…just the regular battle for season supremacy around here…very nice day shaping up here today..
