Focus is Turning

I suppose some of you might have noticed a bit of a lapse in my posting here over the last several days.  I offer sincere apologies to that.  I also offer advance apologies if my posts in the coming weeks turn to the pastime of my oldest daughter frequently.  My daughter plays competitive softball, and while the weather hasn’t seemed to note the change of seasons, spring is the time when the family and I shift a good deal of our collective attention to the softball field.

This season is certainly no exception.  In addition to being a super fan of the team she plays for, I am the unofficial photographer, and the bit more official designer, and web-master of the their website.  That tends to keep me pretty busy during the season.  If you would like to check out my handiwork, please feel free to head on over there.

Don’t be surprised if I happen to share some of my work from over there on this blog from time to time.  I am very proud of her, and any proud father has to share these things as often as possible.

Silly how life gets in the way of blogging….

If blogging were your life I’d be concerned, Mike. No need to apologize here! No one should ever apologize for focusing on family. That said, I must pose a question: Why is it that females play softball and males play baseball? Why can’t females play baseball? And why don’t males try their hand at softball? Is it because the word “soft” makes them feel less manly? Is it because women naturally have smaller muscles and wouldn’t be able to hit a baseball as far? Really, this has always kind of bothered me and I’m wondering if you can shed some light on this.
